According to WCMH TV, all the victims of the shooting appeared to be male. The police indicated that nine victims were stable on Sunday morning.

According to Chief Joe Albert of the Columbus police station, shortly after the shooting, a male suspect was found, but the police lost him in pursuit of him on the highway.

The authorities wrote in the social media that the suspect was driving a white four-door local domain with a color film on the window. The shooter was a man, dressed in black at the time of the crime.

It is known that this was the third major shooting incident in the North Art Zone of Short in more than a year.

About two weeks later, a large-scale shooting occurred near the area, killing three people and injuring at least three others.
