From 30 September to 3 October 2024, I took a tour of Jeju Island, Korea, for four days, and visited a number of sites and museums. Jeju Island, the largest island in Korea, is located on the south-west coast of Korea, facing the sea with mountains on its back.
On 30 September, at around 2 a.m., at Xianyang International Airport, I and my family were on LJ 872 flights to Jeju Island, Korea.
For the time being, Jeju Island is exempt from signature, as long as it buys round-trip tickets. Following my trip to Singapore in early April this year, this was my second trip abroad and my first trip to South Korea, with great anticipation and joy.
At around 6 a.m. on 30 September, the aircraft landed at Jeju International Airport, flying only three hours because of the time difference.
The hotel here is not expensive, but it's a strange time to stay until 3 p.m. and must be checked out by 11 p.m. the next day. On September 30, I was staying at the Stazlobero Hotel in Jeju, in close proximity to the Jeju Patriarchate site and the East Gate market; on October 1 I was staying at the King's House at the east end of Jeju Island, near the Sea Girls Museum and the Sunrise Zone; and on October 2 I was staying at the Western Dynasty Parkney Hotel, in close proximity to the daily markets and the heaven and earth.
