America's “Last Secretary of Education”?
McMahon served as Director of the United States Small Business Management Board during his first term as President of Trump. She was appointed in 2017, resigned in 2019, and subsequently assumed the position of Chairman of the Super Political Action Committee “United States Priority Action” in support of Trump. Another co-chair of the Committee, Howard Lutnik, was nominated by Trump on 19 local time as the next Minister of Commerce.

In addition, McMahon is the chairman of the board of directors of the pro-Trump think tank, the American Institute for Priority Policy, founded in 2021 by other advisers to the first government, McMahon, Larry Kudlow, and Trump, with the aim of maintaining the presence in Washington of “MaGA again” when Biden’s team came to power. Since its inception, the think tank has raised millions of dollars of funds, known as the “White House-designate” to plan potential policy proposals for Trump’s second term.
